Siricilla Event (16th November 2008)
We are very happy to say that our Sirisilla event is went excellent. We got the excellent response and appreciations from the people of Padma Nagar and Rajeev Nagar.
Implemented activities:
1. Conducted medical camp for 800 people with the help of highly specialized doctors.
2. Provided free medicines to all of them as per the doctor’s prescription.
3. Distributed necessary house hold provisions around 210 families in Padma Nagar and Rajeev Nagar at Sirisilla;
4. Assisted for adoption of 10 orphan children to well establish orphan schools in Hyderabad.
Details of whole event:
A team of four members (Dasari Chandra Sekhar, Tirumalasetti Prabhakar, Yerramsetti Satish and Ganesh) reached to Sirisilla on Saturday (15/11/2008) at 5 PM and setup the venue, communicated with the local doctors, arranged Hospital setup in the class rooms and other Do IT techies have reached to Sirisilla on 16th November 2008 at 5:10 AM, and around 8 AM we all gathered at the venue Mehar Santhi Niketan High School, Padma Nagar, Sirisilla and started the registration of the people who were suffering from various health problems and setup some of the flags, banners, etc.
Free Medical camp:
This event is started at 10:30 AM. We have set-up three patient registration rooms and each room contains 5 of our volunteers. In this room, we have taken the details of patient regarding their health problems and guided them to corresponding specialist doctors. We are glad to appreciate doctor’s voluntarily help to this mega camp success. We have setup three separate rooms for specialist doctors. Doctors examined the patients and prescribed related medicines. For medicines, we have setup separate medicines hall. In this room, we have qualified pharmacists who gave the corresponding medicines as per the doctor’s prescription with free of cost. In this whole process, our volunteers helped them to reach their home safely. In between volunteers helped them in registration process, taking them to corresponding doctor and medicine distribution.

Distributions of house hold provisions:
Team knocked almost every door step and identified 200 families with the help of local youth who got inspired by Chirinjeevi. These families are at risk of starvation due to the seriously affected power looms and handloom market. All these victim families have lost their dear ones because of suicides.
We have packed the bags and attach the “DoIT” labels. The packaged bag contains

• 1 kg Onions
• 1 kg Aloo
• 1 kg Tamarind
• 1 Steel Plate
• 1 Glass
DOIT convener Mr. Raja Suresh distributed the whole bags to victim families and provided the highly motivated speech. We have seen that gathered people responded very well to that speech.
Adoption of orphan children:
We have identified the 10 orphan children and assisted them to adoption process for “Amma foundation”, Hyderabad.
